Good Weather in October?

It's midafternoon and currently GORGEOUS outside. I'm so surprised by the weather - last year, it was in the 90s for much of October and November, and I was wearing shorts well into December. I'm praying it will be different this year, and the weather forecast is certainly making it look that way! As long as I haven't jinxed anything by saying it, of course :)
