Crash Landing in Lima

For some reason, this morning I stepped outside and immediately thought the weather felt like Lima, Peru - except fifteen degrees warmer. For the day we were there, Lima had something like 97% humidity. It did that weird thing where it's not really raining but water's still falling from the sky, and you always felt wet - but I loved it.

Like scarves, hats aren't something I wear that much. I carried around a sunhat in Peru and it proved INCREDIBLY useful, even if carting it around was a bit of a pain (The brim is now deformed from being stuffed in my backpack so many times). But I put this outfit on today and caught sight of this little hat hanging on my wall. Shablam, outfit complete.

Hat - Forever 21
Shirt - Target
Cardigan - Modcloth
Jeans - Contents
Shoes - Journeys (These are the first pair of Converse I bought. I got them about three and a half years ago and I LOVE THEM. They're all dirty and ratty now, but I think of it as a sign of love.)
