Well, I'm not entirely sure how I'm supposed to follow up Lindy's post. She's a lot better at those "showing emotions" and "thanking people beautifully" things than I am :)
When we started this blog a year ago, reaching the end seemed like some hard, abstract, distant goal that it would take forever to reach. Now that we're here, I have no idea how it arrived so quickly. It seems like just yesterday I posted my first outfit - and now I've done 366 of them! Over the course of the year, I've worn outfits I want to wear everyday. I've worn outfits I can't believe I put on, much less posted on the internet. I've had good days, bad days, busy days, and obnoxiously boring days. This has been one of the biggest years of my life, and I'm so glad it's all chronicled on this little blog. Doing this blog has at times been hard, annoying, and creativity-challenging - but most of all, it's been so, so much fun. As glad as I am that I can now wear sweat pants or a dress three days in a row without anyone (besides my family) judging me, and as happy as I am that I can shop whenever I want (because if there's one thing this year hasn't cured me of, its my love of clothes), it's a bittersweet ending. I'll really miss doing this blog. I don't know how long I can stay away from fashion blogging now that I've been bitten by the bug, but with college coming up - well, we'll see what happens.
Okay. So, thank you's. First and foremost, I want to thank Lindy. When I asked you to do this challenge thing with me, you jumped on the boat and we set sail full force. I honestly don't think I could have done it without your support, ideas, and, well, you. I want to thank my mom, dad, and brothers. All four of them took many pictures for me over the course of the year. (Even if it sometimes took a lot of convincing, begging, and bribing on the parts of my brothers!) I also have a special shout out for my brother Liam, who's been taking a lot of my pictures recently. A few days ago, he informed me that he wanted to be the person to take my last picture, which meant more to me than he probably thought! (Little did he know I would be super picky about this picture, because it's the last one and I want it to be perfect. Or something.) This has been a crazy journey, and I think he and my mom (well, certainly my mom) are as sad about it ending as I am! Finally, I want to thank YOU. Whether you just stumbled across this blog or have been following it since day one, it means so much to Lindy and me that you've taken the time to read our little blog!
Oh, and don't go anywhere too quickly...Lindy and I will be back tomorrow with one final post.

A Year Full of Adventures. 2012.
Can you believe it. Today is the final day. We did it! We did 366 different outfits in a year. We documented every day, took pictures of ourselves, regardless of where we were, and updated from all corners of the United States, and even the world. I, to this day, will never know how we did it. But I do know we had a lot of help. So, i'd like to thank the people who have helped us throughout the year.
Mom: My mother has taken my picture (almost) every day for the last 12 months. It hasn't always been at the most opprotune time, and it hasn't always been the easiest (because i'm so picky!), but she did it anyways. She was with me almost every morning, while I contemplated if I had worn something before or not, and she told me when some outfits just "didn't look right". Occasionally, she also let me borrow her stuff. She has been supportive of the blog from day one, and I cannot thank her enough. I love you.
Dad: When my mom wasn't around to take pictures, mostly on weekends, my dad took some. He told me I looked pretty in every picture (he's a big teddy bear). Without even knowing it, he let me borrow his big dress shirts and make them my own! Those shirts are still in my closet, and I'm not sure he has noticed that they've gone missing yet... But he has always been a big supporter of the blog, and i'm proud to be his daughter. So thanks daddy!
My Grammy: My grandma (we call her Grammy) has also been one of those "picture takers". Quite a few mornings, when my mom was gone, I would call her over to my house, and she'd snap my picture. She gave me some of her friend's hand me downs at the beginning of the year, that she could have easily taken for herself, but she didn't. She knew I was on a mission, and let me have them. She's the best grandma ever, and i'm blessed to have her in my life.
Staci: Her name has been mentioned a few times on this blog, but not enough to do her justice. About 85% of the clothes I labeled as "hand me downs" (which is about 75% of my closet) are hers that she gave me selflessly. Both before the year started and during the year, she cleaned out her closet, and gave me whatever I wanted to take. I took so much, and used all of it. We gave some to Abbie as well. We couldn't have created as many outfits without her, and I know I would not have survived if she hadn't given me what she had. So, thank you very much for contributing to our success.
My HITS Girls: A bunch of my HITS Theatre girls and their friends have been following the blog since the beginning. We told everybody about it, and they all wanted to see a piece of it. Many of these same girls have followed the blog since January 1st, and that is a long time! Some of these younger girls (the 8-9th grades) just got a lot of these blog clothes because I wanted to give back to them. The blog legacy lives on, and hopefully they will hand down the clothes to their "babies" in a few years. Thank you, ladies, for supporting the blog for so long!
Our Adult Followers: I know who you are, and you know who you are! You guys have been around since we first advertised it, and have followed it the entire year. I didn't know us teenagers were so intersting, but thank you for all of your constant support!
Team "Lift": Particularly Rhonda, my boss. Rhonda and "Team Lift" have been so supportive of the blog, and have taken my picture on days when I worked all day long. Many customers now know about the blog through my work, and are always excited to heard more about the "blog" news, like when we get more Russian followers! Thank you, Team Lift, for the constant publicity and support!
Last, but definatly not least.....
Abbie: Shortly after christmas in 2011, you convinced me to do this with you. I'll probably never know why I said yes. I knew I had a lot of clothes, and I thought it would be just one big fun thing. But looking back at it, this blog has meant so much more to me. It has certainly been a challenge, not an easy feat, but it's been the best year of my life. I've had a blast learning how to blog, and becoming invested in it all, and it's all thanks to you. You are the marshmellow to my hot chocolate, the doctor to my tardis, and the best friend any girl could ask for. If there is anyone I couldn't have done this without, it would be you. You have let me borrow your clothes countless times. We've been on so many adventures together this year, and we've had the opprotunity to blog what we wore during those adventures! How awesome is that? You've kept me sane in times when I didn't think I could do it. Abbie, there truly are no words. I'm so glad we went on this journey together. It's made us great bloggers, and even better friends. You are literally the best friend i've ever had, and I love you so much. Thank you for such a great year. WE DID IT!!!
You know, today's outfit is "just another outfit" in a sense, but in another way, it's possibly the most important outfit of the year. It's just another day in our challenge, but it's also the last one we will officially document as part of the 366 challenge of 2012. This outfit is just another day around. But it's the last one i'll share with you guys today. Thank you, all. Here it is.

The Penultimate Peril
Wow. So. Tomorrow is the last day of the year - which means tomorrow's the last day of this challenge! How on Earth that happened, I have no idea. Must be the timey wimey stuff. Or something.
This afternoon's just one of those relaxed post-church days where I am attempting to write those last few (frustrating) college essays. That gets pretty old pretty fast, and the essay writing turns into this cycle of things to do. I write for a little bit. Tumblr starts calling my name and I'm lured onto it. I convince myself that writing this blog post is a good reason not to write essays OR get on tumblr. So I try doing this. But then I tell myself that I really need to write essays, so I shut everything off and the cycle begins again.

One.....
Tomorrow is the last day of the year, and it'll be the one year anniversery of when this page was "born". Don't get sentimental yet, Lindy. Save it for tomorrow!
Abbie gave me this shirt, and I can't remember why she is giving it away. It's indie pattern is something I'd totally expect Abbie to keep, and for me to toss aside. When I tried it on, however, I liked that it was sort of "innocent" in a way, because its light linen and such. I know this material isn't great for a 50 degree day, but hey, it's alright. I'll be inside!

Two days until December 31st. Oh. My. Goodness. Today is another day at work. It's still a bit chilly outside, and i'm not suitibly dressed! I don't have too many outfit ideas left, and I wasn't expecting this chilly of weather, so I added some furry boots to mix it up a bit!

Professional Procrastination
Today was a pretty awesome day! My family took an impromptu trip to our friends' ranch to have dinner with them, which was a ton of fun. I also drove a stick shift for the first time in probably four months and managed to procrastinate like a professional. I am enjoying the freedom (i.e. "excuse to be lazy") of winter break way too much.

Natural Light
I've been sitting around for awhile waiting for my mom and brothers to get back so one of them could take my picture (that does not make me sound lazy AT ALL). However, at 5:30 I realized that the sun was setting rapidly and that pretty soon I wouldn't have enough light to take pictures! (At least, without using that detestable flash.) I scurried outside and found that it was a lot chillier than it had been all day! So pardon the needing-to-get-this-done-quickly smile...I was cold ;)

Three.... (Shorty McShort Short)
Abbie and I are getting closer and closer to the end. It's actually quite sad. Today is not the day to get sentimental (that'll be Monday), but i'll continue on with my outfit!
For Christmas I got a Chi! I thought i'd try out my new straightener last night, and literally could not believe how much hair was on my head. It is so LONG. In addition to my long hair, the way i've worn this outfit makes me look so short. I would love to be short, so I take that as a compliment. Also, do you notice my complete obsession with Britain still lives on!

Five And Four...
I apoligize for not posting yesterday. I was in San Marcos shopping most of the day! Yes, it was completly "legal" in our blog rules, because I was using gift cards, and I won't be wearing any of the pieces I bought until January 1st. Yesterday's outfit was a "cute" outfit that I wore to go shopping in the HUGE San Marcos outlet mall.

Dia de los Muertos
I got this cardigan and these tights for Christmas, and I am in love with them both. They're perfect for a day like today - both are surprisingly warm and cozy. Also, the cardigan has skulls on it, which makes it even more perfect and wonderfully weird.
I hope everyone's enjoying their post-Christmas time! (Though how you can enjoy the fact that Christmas is over I have no idea ;).) I'm working hard to finish my college essays so I can enjoy taking a very welcome BREAK next week - when, I just realized, I won't even have the blog to keep me occupied. That's a little sad! I've gotten so into the swing of things with this blog, I don't know what I'll do once it's over. But now is not the time for sentimentality - that'll come full force on Monday.

Do You Hear the People Sing?
If you've noticed, I have a strong affinity for horizontal stripes. For some reason, I'm drawn to them. In my massive pile of Christmas clothes I got yesterday, I have four things that are striped. This shirt is one of them. Unsurprisingly, I love this shirt. It's super soft (and I can't exactly tell whether it's a shirt or a sweater) and comes in my favorite yellow/navy combination.
As I mentioned on the blog last night, I saw Les Mis last night with a grand total of twelve family members. (How can I tell my friends are mostly theatre nerds? I ran into one at the theatre, and know that another saw the film at the same theatre at an earlier time.) Anyway, the film was FANTASTIC, even if my purist heart wants to nitpick a few artistic choices.I recommend seeing the movie, especially if you love the musical! (And be sure to bring tissues!)

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Merry Christmas, everyone!! I hope you've all had an amazing holiday, or if you don't celebrate Christmas, an amazing day where everything is closed and no one is driving. I've had an awesome Christmas with my family, and now we're going to see Les Mis! (We went to the kiosk and bought 13 tickets - and not everyone's going.) I also got enough clothes to do this challenge another year (not that I would ever do that), so you'll get to see all of my pretty new clothes the last week of the blog.

Christmas #1
WAAAH, it's almost Christmas! Christmas practically starts on Christmas Eve in my family. We went over to my grandparent's for breakfast, then went to my other grandparent's for Christmas #1. I got this beautiful purse - isn't it so lovely and awesome and an amazing color? After Christmas #1, we opened a few presents from my dad at our house, and then went back to my (first) grandparent's house for their big Christmas Eve party. This year, there are 21 of us in town for Christmas (all family, and that's not even the lot of us), and it was lots of fun getting to hang out with everyone. I can't wait for tomorrow! Merry (almost) Christmas!

The Weird Side of the Family
Updating on the blog (or doing extracurriculars in general) is going to be interesting these next few days. I have that weird kind of family who actually really enjoys spending time together, so whenever we're all in the same place we're literally together from morning till night. Who knows? I might be updating this late until after Christmas! So I'm sorry in advance...but not really, because I'm having fun.

Nine more days until the challenge is all done! This next 9 days consists of a lot of working, holidays, and mini celebrations and vacations. Today i'm celebrating with my mom's aunt and uncle. I also get to see my "cousin" even though we're not actually cousins! We have the same aunt and uncle. I had to look pretty today, and since I'm in love with the navy tunic I got from Abbie!

Ten....
OH MY GOODNESS YOU GUYS! First of all, we survived the apocolypse! So congratulations! Also, Abbie and I have only TEN days left on the blog! I seriously can't believe it. The year has just whizzed by so quickly. This part of the year is hard and easy at the same time. It's hard because i'm trying really hard not to repeat any outfits now (i think i've gotten closer than I think), but easy because I just had a birthday, and Abbie and I just took some of each other's clothes. Anyways, onto the outfit.
Since it's cooled down so much, I am using every opprotunity to wear a sweater and boots. The high is like... 60 degrees, and it's still a bit windy out, so I need to wear sweaters and boots. For once, Houston decided to cool down. Happy Winter Solistice to all of you as well! Today is just filled with holidays... LOL.
One more request from our readers. Abbie and I are trying to think of "January 1st" post ideas. Also, we want to kind of commemerate the year and look back at our outfits. Any ideas on what to post?

Dance For Your Life
Hello all, I apoligize for not posting yesterday. It's been a crazy week, and yesterday and today, I have my dance shows. In addition to dance shows, I work all day long. I'm literally exausted in every sense of the word. I don't mind it though! I get to do what I love :). Yesterday was SO warm outside. It was like.... 80 degrees. But last night, a cold front blew in, and its SUPER windy and cool. I hope it stays like this through christmas!

A Semblance of Festivity
This shirt is so fabulously 80s. I looooove it! I finally got around to taking the shoulder pads out, so it's now "wearable," as I told my mother earlier. I'm going to a Christmas party of sorts tonight, so it seemed appropriate. It's just green enough to have a semblance of festivity without being all GAH HOLIDAYS. (Which I have been seeing an obscene amount of lately. [Says the girl who owns a plaid taffeta cocktail dress from the 50s.] Seriously, you would think Christmas was in a week or something.)

One Week 'Til Christmas?
It is a lot hotter outside than I was expecting it to be, so the boots and leggings came off right after I took this picture. I hear we're supposed to experience a cold front tomorrow, though. Hopefully then I'll be piling the layers on as opposed to taking them off because Christmas is in a week and it would be nice to be cold on Christmas.
And by the by, CHRISTMAS IS IN A WEEK HOW DID THIS HAPPEN. As much as I want Christmas to come, I don't want it to be over! That's the problem with Christmas: it's always over so fast. You spend so much time anticipating and waiting and then it passes by in a flash.
(And I would like to wish Lindy a very happy and amazing 18th birthday!!)

Golden Birthday!
Hello readers! Today is my 18th birthday! I am feeling so, so old. Today is also what you would call my "golden" birthday. This means that since today is December 18th, I turn 18! My gift from my grandparents is this lovely pair of leather boots. I LOVEEE them, and i'm pretty sure i'll be wearing them with every outfit until the year is up.
I'm going to buy a lottery ticket now. And watch some infomercials so I can call a 1-800 number to buy something.

My Niche
Hey guys! I am super, super sorry for not posting yesterday. I've been running around like mad these past few days, so by the time I got to my computer it was late and I was tired and in a bad mood and did NOT feel like being all happy-cheery on the blog. Anyway.
Now that Christmas break is nigh, a lot of my college friends are back in town. I got to see several of them yesterday, which was so nice! A lot of my good friends left for college this year, so getting to see them after however many months was a ton of fun. I even got to see one of them in an opera last night, which was really cool. (He did an amazing job as well - what's up, Sam!)
As Lindy's been saying, we both cleaned out our closets and traded clothes. I wasn't going to wear anything of hers (on the blog) until after Christmas/New Year's, but it is a little warm outside today. All of the outfits I have planned involve sweaters or boots or tights and my creativity level is at a 3 out of 10, so new shirt it is. At least the shirt is cute, right?
Yes, I know these two outfits look almost exactly alike. I’ve
obviously found a niche I like.

Flower Pants
I know I said I wasn't going to wear these pants for the rest of the year (being they were accidental on here, because I had nothing else to wear) but I couldn't help it! I loveeeee these pants. I'm not the biggest fan of pink, or flowers for that matter, but somehow I just love them! Maybe because they're not typical blue jeans, and have patterns on them. One thing I know for sure is, on January 1st, I will be buying more pants like this!

Winter Colors on a Non Wintery Day
Houston has decided to heat up again. Why?? Please tell me why!! I wish it was cooler outside. Since I have aquired Abbie's clothes, I have been anxious to try on every little new piece. Today's new piece is this long navy tunic. Since I love tunics, I thought this would be a very pretty outfit to wear to the show i'm going to tonight! Also, since it's too warm to wear anything cute and wintery, I thought i'd just go for the effect using winter colors in my clothes.
Also, if you live in houston, today is my "kind of" birthday party at my shop on W. 19th in the Heights! Drop by!
(for those of you who don't know, my birthday is Tuesday!)

Gimme Gimme
This blog post comes to you via my cell phone. This is kind of weird, but I'm not going home for a while, so I figured why not try to post on my phone? I've been at callbacks all day and I'm exhausted. Still, it's been pretty fun!

Switcheroo
Hello readers! I apoligize for not posting yesterday. After the Hobbit premire and 8 hours or work, I was dead beat tired. While I was at Abbies on Thursday, we took all of our "give away" clothes, looked through them and took what we wanted. Both yesterday and today i'm wearing stuff that I took from Abbie's closet! How do I look in Abbie's clothes??

Not the Jam!
You might have noticed I didn't post yesterday. I didn't get my picture taken until after school, and almost immediately after that I had to leave for ballet. I was running around town all evening and then LINDY AND I WENT TO THE MIDNIGHT PREMIERE OF THE HOBBIT AND IT WAS SO AMAZING. Martin Freeman is the perfect Bilbo Baggins. I'm a huge Tolkien fan, and I have been waiting for this movie to come out since I first heard it was being made. In true Peter Jackson style, the movie didn't end until 3:30 AM. I had to get up a mere five hours later to help my grandma with something, and though I can hear those of you who had to get up early for school rolling your eyes, I'm kind of tired. Still, I would watch that movie again in a heart beat.

Color Hysteria
So as I was putting together an outfit this morning, I noticed I had on a lot of solids. I thought to myself, "why don't I just put as many solid colors together to see if they match in any way?". I pulled on a magenta v neck, jeans, a solid cami, a bright blue scarf, tan boots and a black jacket. Can you say that's a bit mix matched? None of it really goes together. But thats kind of what makes it fun! :)

Coincidental Coordination
Yesterday at auditions, Lindy and I realized that our outfits had the same idea: jewel tones, black tights, vintage-y heels with bows on them, and bright pink lips. It was such a funny coincidence that of course we had to take pictures and use our audition outfits as our outfits for today. We were taking pictures in my back yard, goofing off like we do, and while Lindy managed to look awesome in almost every picture, I was mainly this blurry mess. (Who's surprised, right?) Oh well. At least I managed to get one good picture ;)
Also, disregard the fact that I’m wearing the same shorts
and tights as yesterday.

A recently aquired nickname given to me is "red velvet" Why? If you look at my pale, pale skin and my dark red hair, you will understand. I absolutly LOVE this dress I got for my auditions. It's gorgeous, and it fits me perfectly!

My Parents Are So Darn Cheap
I am in love with this cold weather - I really can't stress enough how much I love bundling up and getting cozy and plain old cold air. My parents don't like turning the heater on before we absolutely have to, so our house is pretty chilly. I was still cold in this sweater, so I spent all day tucked under polar fleece blankets and my North Face jacket.
(Also, I would like to thank my mother for this post's title. Except her version of the title was a little more colorful.)
